The simplicity of this early 20th century rocker intrigues me. The construction is nearly all jointed with very few nails or screws, I would consider this to be possibly “folk art” a one off piece built in a homestead shop to serve a purpose.
It is made completely of oak, naturally weathered and coloured. Structurally sound, very stable and just in need of a upholstered, solid wood or even a rattan / wicker seat which we would be able to complete for our clients if required.
Measurements; 37.5″ high & 21″ wide ( at seat front)
